How to have great travel experience with airlines no matter what.

When flying with an airline for any kind of trip it can get pretty stressful, especially when problems occur. The best and easiest way to improve your mood and travel experience, for you and those around you is. To remain calm, if you become hostile to a employee of the airline for whatever reason it might be, they will less likely to help you.
Now lets say, your bag was lost during your trip, and you aproach a ticket or gate agent with your problem, there are two options you can start yelling at them and blaming them for everything (though they might have lost your bag, it was not on purpose!). Then the second is, come at it with a humble spirit, saying, "I believe my bag was misplaced during the trip, could you please help me". If they do look busy then when you approach them, always say, "I am so sorry to bother you..."
This is more kind hearted way of saying it and people respond to that and are more likely to help you.
Now delays can be one of the most annoying things on your trip. But, have you really stopped and taken a second to think about what the delay is about. Instead of getting mad at the airline, think, is it really their fault because trust me, they want to get that plane out just as much as you do.
Most of delays are due to weather which the airline can not help and are for your safety. Then their are ATC delays which can be anything from not giving the aircraft clearance to depart, to threats they might get about the airport or aircraft. Now their are some delays that are the airlines fault and those are mechanical delays. Yes, these are annoying but aren't you glad they found the problem on the ground instead of at 30,000 feet.
Again, having a humble attitude will make your experience much better, because it makes people much more willing to help you.
